Pictures of buildings mentioned in the “Suffolk” volume of “The Buildings of England” series by Sir Nikolaus Pevsner.  Tudor Georgian

The Church, Church Cottages and Nether Hall were easy to find.  Manor Cottages are no longer called that and were found by elimination and are assumed to be correct.  The Mill shown is near what I think was the station and is certainly a picturesque group.  However, it is called Pentlow Mill and Pentlow is in Essex.  It is also South of the river but between the river and the Essex border ‘sign’: I thought the boundary was the river.  To complicate things further there is a Mill Lane at the other end of town with Mill Cottages but no obvious Mill.

I could not find the Old Rectory.  Cavendish Hall is inaccessible.
