Pictures of buildings mentioned in the “Suffolk” volume of “The Buildings of England” series by Sir Nikolaus Pevsner.

Helmingham Hall is well known for its gardens and various events.  These pictures were taken by my daughter on a visit to the “Suffolk Dog Day”.  We don’t have too many dog days in Suffolk but this is a popular one for dog lovers.  I’ve never visited the Hall and it comes recommended for the gardens alone.  It would be nice to add a picture of the moat and drawbridge, so one day I will go there.  It is regularly open to the public - see related links page accessible from the home (“Suffolk”) page.

The copyright of these remain with my  youngest daughter and were taken on a Samsung camera.
