Pictures of buildings mentioned in the “Suffolk” volume of “The Buildings of England” series by Sir Nikolaus Pevsner.  Tudor Georgian

I had a bit of trouble with Sir Nikolaus’ compass again here.  I think I got the right buildings.  The Guildhall showed no signs of being named as such.  Neither did Kelsale Court and it was hard to describe it as “two and a half stories” or indeed grey brick but this one is a fine building anyway.

Also included is the side of the village hall (next to the Guildhall) which is not mentioned in the book but has an Ipswich (or Sparrowe’s) window, which is of local interest.
